Lead Application Developer

As the Lead Application Developer at our Chennai location, you will work independently with minimal guidance, demonstrating strong business acumen, broad technical skills, and experience in managing enterprise development and integration projects. Your expertise in advanced C#.Net, SQL & NoSQL databases, along with building cloud native REST APIs and serverless applications, will be key in this role. Technical leadership is crucial, as you will coach and train other developers, drive continuous improvement through agile practices, and prioritize supporting others over hands-on coding. Quality will be your focus, advocating for automated testing, meeting non-functional requirements, maintaining operational tooling, and enabling continuous delivery. A deep understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, cloud infrastructure, and commitment to best practices is essential. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying scalable & secure cloud-based applications using AWS services. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborating with various functions within the organization, you will ensure the team delivers solutions efficiently and effectively. With a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and over 10 years of experience in software development, including full-stack development and cloud-based applications, you have a solid foundation. Any AWS certifications, hands-on experience with cloud-based applications, and understanding of modern web development and distributed systems will be advantageous.
