Job Description

Should have good understanding of infrastructure management processes; good understanding of ITIL process framework.
Provides 3rd level technical support on NAS & SAN Storage related issues.
Installation and configuring the NetApp Clusters
Creation of Aggregates, volumes and mapping of LUNs to Windows & UNIX hosts
Creating the SVM’s, segregating the SVM’s between NAS and SAN storage
Choose the right RAID level for high performance and high availability on NetApp Filers.
Setting up CIFS Shares, NFS Mounts, Quotas, Groups and Permissions on NetApp NAS.
Configuring and troubleshooting issues with Storage arrays (EMC ISILON/VMAX AFA/VNX/Unity AFA/Pure AFA/ECS/Celerra/Centera and SAN switches in SAN environment)
VNX/VMAX/Pure software / hardware maintenance and firmware upgrades
Isilon Snapshot IQ/SyncIQ setup and configuration
Isilon NFS Creation / Quota Creation /SMB Shares Creation
