Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for measuring and mapping land features, conducting surveys for construction projects, and ensuring accuracy in land measurements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using modern surveying equipment and techniques, as well as a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to land and property boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surveying & Mapping: Conduct land surveys for projects, ensuring accurate measurements and mapping of topography, boundaries, elevations, and other relevant land features.
  • Site Analysis: Evaluate land conditions and provide detailed reports on findings, including potential issues related to land development, zoning, and boundaries.
  • Use of Equipment: Operate advanced surveying equipment, such as Total Stations, GPS, Laser Scanners, and digital levels, to collect precise data.
  • Boundary Determination: Establish property lines, easements, and boundaries according to legal specifications and applicable laws.
  • Data Interpretation & Reporting: Analyze and interpret survey data to create topographical maps, site plans, and other technical drawings for use in construction, development, and legal documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure that land survey data aligns with project plans and specifications.
  • Permit and Legal Documentation: Prepare legal descriptions, boundary reports, and other necessary documents for property transactions, easement agreements, and regulatory submissions.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring surveys meet professional and regulatory standards.
  • Field Work: Travel to job sites, set up equipment, take measurements, and provide ongoing support during the construction phase of projects.
  • Compliance: Stay up to date with local, state, and federal surveying laws, codes, and standards to ensure full compliance in every project.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor or similar role. Experience in [specific industry, e.g., construction, real estate, infrastructure] is preferred.
  • Certifications: Licensed Land Surveyor (LS) or similar certification is highly preferred. Additional certifications (e.g., Professional Land Surveyor, Project Management) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other GIS applications.
  • Expertise in operating modern surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS systems, drones, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CAD systems and GIS for land mapping and data analysis.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in outdoor environments, often in remote or challenging terrain. Comfortable with fieldwork, including lifting and carrying surveying equipment.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and provide solutions for complex survey-related issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to report survey results to clients, stakeholders, and legal entities.
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in measurement and report preparation.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop solutions in real-time while in the field.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Combination of field and office work. Travel to various sites may be required.
  • Schedule: Standard working hours, with occasional overtime based on project deadlines or fieldwork requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
