Job Title: Lab View Engineer - Machine Vision-Based Inspection Systems Location: Hyderabad Company: Optomech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 1-3 years (In development of automation systems preferred ) About Us: Optomech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is leading manufacturer Machine Vision B ased Inspection Systems. With our over 40 years of experience in designing and building machines using optics and machine vision technology we serve industries such as Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Agro Chemicals, and Packaged Foods by providing high-end solutions for quality control. To enhance our automated inspection systems, we are looking for a LabVIEW-trained Engineer to develop and optimize software for high-performance vision inspection solutions. Key Responsibilities: Software Development: Design, develop, and implement LabVIEW-based applications for vision inspection machines. Machine Vision Integration: Work with industrial cameras, image processing algorithms, and NI Vision libraries to enhance inspection capabilities. Hardware & Software Interface : Interface LabVIEW applications with PLC, motion control systems, sensors, I/O modules, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, TCP/IP, etc.). Algorithm Optimization: Develop and fine-tune image processing algorithms for defect detection, pattern matching, barcode reading, OCR, and other vision applications. Testing & Debugging: Perform rigorous testing to ensure accuracy, speed, and reliability of the inspection software. System Calibration: Collaborate with mechanical & electrical teams to calibrate cameras, lighting, and optics for optimal vision performance. Technical Documentation: Create user manuals, system flow diagrams, and software documentation. Customer Support: Provide remote and on-site support for software updates, troubleshooting, and optimization. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW application development. Proficiency in NI Vision Development Module & LabVIEW FPGA/Real-Time is a plus. Knowledge of image processing techniques, OpenCV, and AI-based vision inspection is an advantage. Experience with DAQ, NI hardware, and industrial automation systems . Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team .
