Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate lab technicians to operate our scalp cooling therapy machines, designed to help patients undergoing chemotherapy. The ideal candidate will provide patient support, manage the scalp cooling process, and ensure patient comfort throughout their therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will make sure the patient is satisfied with the therapy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate and manage the scalp cooling therapy machine for patients undergoing chemotherapy. 2. Educate patients about the scalp cooling process, its benefits, and expected outcomes. 3. Assist patients in preparing for the scalp cooling treatment, including fitting the cooling cap correctly. 4. Monitor patients during the cooling process for any signs of discomfort or adverse reactions. 5. Provide empathetic support and address patient concerns or questions during treatment. 6. Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members to provide holistic patient care. Qualifications: - Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. - Experience in oncology or chemotherapy patient care is preferred. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to provide compassionate care in a clinical environment. - Basic technical skills to operate and troubleshoot the scalp cooling machine. Work Environment: - Clinical setting with exposure to patients undergoing chemotherapy. - Shift work may be required based on patient treatment schedules. Work timings are Monday - Saturday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm Candidate is expected to be in the respective clinic / hospital during their work hours
