Work in both the chemical lab and water treatment areas (ETP/STP) . Follow international testing standards and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Ensure products and processes meet company quality standards . Key Responsibilities: Quality Execution 60% Test ingredients, intermediates, and final products to check if they meet company standards. Do taste and smell tests (sensory/organoleptic testing) on beverage ingredients. Use modern lab instruments like HPLC, spectroscopy for product testing. Collect and test water and wastewater samples from ETP/STP daily. Keep track of chemical stocks and ensure lab instruments are calibrated on time. Analyze wastewater results and find ways to improve processes. Record all test data properly as per company rules. Do equipment capability studies and method validations as per ISO 17025. Take part in internal and external quality programs . Review lab tools and processes to ensure everything is working well. Create sampling and testing plans for materials. Analyze test data and find trends to assess risks. Join global lab teams and help in achieving lab goals. Provide help to other lab departments when needed. Have knowledge of quality systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 17025 . Quality Assurance – 40% Ensure products are made following company quality rules. Ensure manufacturing meets food safety standards . Keep records and graphs for ETP/STP/WTP tests; follow MPCB (government rules). Follow safety, environmental, and food safety rules while testing and discarding samples. Keep records as per ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 22000, PAS 220 . Follow GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and lab safety protocols . Suggest corrective actions to stop repeated problems. Help find the root cause of any quality issue. Do data audits to check if results are accurate. Take part in internal audits , write SOPs, and review lab documents. Record test results in computer or lab notebook. Organizational Communication: Internal (Within the company): Work with QA, warehouse, production teams for material testing and reporting . Help improve zero-defect product quality with the production team. Assist in test method validation and implementing QC procedures . Coordinate with warehouse for raw material checking and approval . External (Outside the company): Coordinate with global lab teams for testing support and best practices. Work with third-party labs and suppliers for calibration and testing services.
