Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to labeling software, hardware, and processes.

System Administration: Managing and maintaining labeling systems, including configuration, updates, and performance monitoring.

Customer Support: Providing technical guidance and support to users, addressing their queries and helping them utilize the labeling technology effectively.

Documentation and Knowledge Base: Creating and maintaining documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to support users and streamline support processes.

Collaboration: Working with internal teams (e.g., engineering, quality assurance, production) and external vendors to resolve complex issues and improve labeling processes.

Label Design and Quality Control: Ensuring labels meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Compliance: Ensuring labeling practices adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of labeling software (e.g., NiceLabel, BarTender, codesoft sentinal), hardware (e.g., printers, scanners), and related technologies.

Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with users, document issues, and collaborate with teams.

Customer Focus: Ability to provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring user satisfaction.

Knowledge of Labeling Processes: Understanding of label design, printing, and quality control procedures.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., cGMP, GDP).

Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Examples of Specific Tasks:

Configuring label templates in NiceLabel software.

Troubleshooting printer errors and connectivity issues.

Assisting users with barcode scanning problems.

Developing training materials for new labeling technologies.

Collaborating with the quality assurance team to ensure label accuracy.

Working with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with labeling requirements.

In essence, a Labeling Technology Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and effectiveness of labeling systems within an organization.
