Lab Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in handling laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily lab operations. This role requires strong observation skills, basic technical knowledge, and the ability to follow safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine lab tests, sample collection, and analysis as per protocols
• Prepare, label, and organize samples and reagents
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (microscopes, analyzers, etc.)
• Record test results accurately and maintain proper documentation
• Assist in quality control procedures and ensure compliance with lab standards
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the laboratory
• Support senior lab staff in experiments and technical tasks
• Report abnormalities or equipment malfunctions
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT) or related field
• Prior experience in a lab environment preferred (but not mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
