Lab Technician

You will be responsible for performing the lab tests as ordered by the Medical Officer in a timely and accurate manner. It will be part of your role to ensure that both medical and lab equipment are readily available and properly maintained for efficient use. Additionally, you will need to ensure that all registers and records are well-maintained. As a Lab Technician, you may also be required to act as a backup to the nurse when the need arises. In this capacity, you will provide counseling and education to beneficiaries as per their specific needs, including personalizing care, addressing substance abuse issues, and promoting physical activity. Maintaining detailed and accurate records and reports will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to take appropriate measures for Bio Medical waste management and carry out any other relevant additional functions assigned by the Medical Officer, Specialist Doctor, Operations, or CD team. Attending periodic trainings conducted by the CD/Operations team will be necessary to stay updated with the latest practices. Managing daily operations and other activities as suggested by the reporting manager will also be part of your duties.
