Lab Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lab Technician at Life O2 Medical Services in Kolkata. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing routine laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing samples for analysis, and recording and analyzing data. The Lab Technician will also ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and maintain accurate documentation and reports. The role requires close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to support patient care and diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in performing routine laboratory tests and preparing samples for analysis
• Experience in maintaining laboratory equipment and documenting results accurately
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations in a laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Degree or certification in Laboratory Technology or a related field
• Prior experience in a healthcare or medical laboratory is a plus
