Lab head

We are looking for an experienced Lab Head with strong technical knowledge in fine metal refining operations (99.9 purity). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laboratory management within a refinery setup — not in hallmarking labs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily laboratory operations related to metal refining and purity testing (99.9 Department).
• Conduct accurate analysis and testing of gold, silver, or other precious metals.
• Ensure adherence to refinery quality standards and purity norms.
• Supervise lab technicians and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments (e.g., Spectrometer, Fire Assay, etc.).
• Maintain detailed records and ensure documentation compliance as per refinery protocols.
• Coordinate with production and quality departments for process optimization and result validation.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain a clean and efficient laboratory environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in refinery lab operations (preferably gold/silver refining).
• Sound knowledge of fine metal testing, purity checking (99.9), and analytical procedures.
• Experience with modern lab instruments (ICP, AAS, XRF, etc.).
• Strong leadership and team-handling abilities.
• Must not be from hallmarking background — refinery experience is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
