Lab Coordinator

As a Laboratory Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations between sample collection centres and diagnostic labs. Your key duties will include ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, tracking, and dispatch of biological samples. Effective communication with phlebotomists, logistics teams, and internal laboratory staff will be crucial in this role. You will also be involved in assisting with scheduling tests, maintaining records, and resolving any operational issues that may arise. Monitoring the turnaround time (TAT) for diagnostic tests and escalating delays as necessary will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will handle data entry, sample labelling, and documentation in compliance with NABL or ISO standards. Supporting the quality assurance process by identifying non-conformities, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining an inventory of lab consumables will be essential. You will also collaborate with IT teams to address any issues in lab management systems (LIMS) and participate in audits, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers.
