Lab Coordinator

Job Description

Coordinate daily operations between sample collection centres and diagnostic labs. Ensure accurate and timely receipt, tracking, and dispatch of biological samples. Communicate effectively with phlebotomists, logistics teams, and internal laboratory staff. Assist in scheduling tests, maintaining records, and resolving operational issues. Monitor turnaround time (TAT) for diagnostic tests and escalate delays as required. Handle data entry, sample labelling, and documentation in accordance with NABL or ISO standards. Support the quality assurance process by flagging non-conformities and coordinating corrective actions. Maintain inventory of lab consumables and raise requests for replenishments. Coordinate with IT teams to address issues in lab management systems (LIMS). Participate in audits, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
