Lab Assistant

You will be joining Durable Polymers, a renowned manufacturer specializing in PU foam, silicone foam, and engineered fiber solutions for various industries. In this role, as a Quality Check Lab Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all incoming materials, ongoing production processes, and final products adhere to strict quality and safety standards. Your tasks will include conducting hands-on testing, generating reports, handling equipment, and collaborating with both external inspectors and internal departments. Your key responsibilities will involve performing chemical and mechanical tests on polymer materials, conducting quality checks throughout production, and conducting final inspections on finished goods. You will also be expected to identify defects, segregate rejected materials, and maintain detailed records of non-conformities. Ideal candidates for this position should hold a Diploma or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in operating lab testing instruments, generating quality documentation and reports, and using MS Office tools like Excel and Word is essential. Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability are also crucial qualities for this role.
