Lab Assistant

You are a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Associate/ Technician supporting the fragrance and flavour product development team. Your responsibilities include: - Assisting in blending and compounding perfumes based on formulation sheets and perfumer instructions. - Preparing and managing fragrance samples for internal evaluation and customer submissions. - Handling and labeling raw materials (essential oils, aroma chemicals, and bases) accurately. - Maintaining inventory records of fragrance ingredients and samples. - Conducting stability and performance tests for fragrance applications. - Ensuring the lab is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards. - Supporting the perfumery team in developing new fragrance concepts. - Recording all formulation data, observations, and test results systematically. - Collaborating with R&D and Sales teams to support ongoing projects. Preferred qualifications for this role are: - B.Sc. or B.Tech in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic, Perfumery, or Flavour & Fragrance Technology. - 12 years of laboratory experience in fragrance, perfumery, cosmetics, or chemical formulation. - Good sense of smell and attention to detail. Knowledge of raw materials and fragrance families is a plus. - Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment.
