Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Experiment Preparation

Set up lab equipment and materials before classes.
Prepare chemical solutions and biological specimens.
Ensure all apparatus are functioning and safe to use.

Inventory Management

Track and restock lab supplies.
Maintain records of equipment, consumables, and software (in computer labs).

Safety and Maintenance

Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper handling of chemicals and tools.
Clean and maintain lab equipment like microscopes, burettes, and glassware.
Ensure gas connections, water outlets, and electrical setups are secure.

Student and Teacher Support

Assist students during experiments, especially those needing extra help.
Help teachers conduct practical sessions efficiently.
Provide materials like water, kerosene, or oil as needed for physics experiments.

Administrative Duties
Maintain logbooks for student attendance and equipment usage.
Record complaints, suggestions, and lab incidents.
Support clerical tasks as assigned by the school principal.
