L3 Hardware Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented L3 Hardware Engineer to inspect, test, and ensure the quality and functionality of the Rugged devices, tablets, mobile computers, or handheld terminals before dispatch or after repair. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, technical know-how, and experience in hardware/software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and physical inspection of mobile computing devices.
• Test hardware components: display, touch, buttons, camera, ports, battery, speaker/microphone, etc.
• Validate software configurations, firmware versions, and application performance.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, or inconsistencies in devices.
• Maintain accurate repair records, test logs, and defect reports.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and retest faulty devices.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct incoming repair for components and outgoing QC before device shipment.

Requirements:

• ITI Electronics / B Tech / Diploma In Electronics
• Mobile Repair Experience In Hardware
• Ability to work with test tools.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
