Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Windows Server Administrator to manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core infrastructure services. You will ensure system reliability, availability, and performance while supporting users and assisting in infrastructure upgrades and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019/2022), including patching and upgrades.

Manage and support Active Directory (AD): user/group management, FSMO roles, OU structure, Group Policies (GPOs), replication.

Administer and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and WINS services.

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and data integrity across environments.

Implement and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and configuration standards.

Manage file and print servers, shared folders, NTFS/Share permissions, and DFS.

Handle Windows Server backups and disaster recovery procedures (e.g., Windows Server Backup, Veeam).

Coordinate with networking and security teams on firewall rules, ports, IP planning, and domain trusts.

Maintain and review event logs, perform root cause analysis on server-related issues.

Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for provisioning and managing virtual servers.

Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.

Participate in the planning and implementation of system upgrades, migrations, and decommissions.

Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards (e.g., password policies, audit logging).

Provide tier 2/3 support for Windows server-related incidents and service requests.
