L2 Network Engineer-Long Term Contract-Onsite/Hyderabad

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer to join our team to support and implement network infrastructure and solutions at client locations. The candidate should be skilled in handling field operations, configuring network devices, and executing project-based network setups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site network installations and provide field support for clients.

• Responsible for L2 network setup, including switches, routers, and access points.

• Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.

• Manage network cabling, including structured cabling and patch panel management.

• Act as a System Integrator to bring together various hardware components into a working IT environment.

• Work closely with clients during project implementation, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and technical specifications are met.

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for smooth project delivery.

• Maintain documentation for configurations, site layouts, and network diagrams.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 Networking concepts (VLANs, STP, MAC addressing, switching, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, HP, Aruba, etc.

• Experience in structured cabling and cable management.
