Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled L1 Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Thane, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in desktop administration and technical support, with a passion for providing exceptional service to our users. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktop-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Assist users with video conferencing tools and ensure seamless connectivity.
• Manage and configure DHCP and DNS settings to maintain network integrity.
• Support Active Directory management, including user account creation and permissions.
• Configure and troubleshoot Outlook for optimal email performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates on desktop systems to ensure security and efficiency.
• Document and track support requests using ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for desktop usage.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 2 to 7 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of desktop administration and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in video conferencing tools and technologies.
• Experience with DHCP, DNS, and hardware networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Outlook configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
