Job Description

The KYC Maker will manage end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) processes within Corporate and Investment Banking operations. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, accurate documentation, and timely handling of escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute KYC procedures for corporate clients, including document verification, screening, and discounting.
  • Manage end-to-end KYC lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Handle escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of KYC activities and documentation.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence to global KYC guidelines.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent application of KYC policies.
  • Demonstrate proactiveness in learning new processes, especially for regional variations (US/UK/EMEA/APAC).

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of KYC processes within Corporate and Investment Banking.
  • Experience as a KYC Maker with hands-on end-to-end KYC responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of global KYC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage escalations and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and compliance activities.
  • Proactive learning mindset, adaptable to regional differences in KYC processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 25 years of relevant experience in KYC, preferably in Corporate or Investment Banking.
  • Exposure to global KYC operations, with experience in any of the regions (APAC, US, UK, EMEA).
