Korean Language Translator/Interpreter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Korean Language Translator/Interpreter. The ideal candidate must have the ability to interpret/Translate between Korean and English, while leveraging industry-specific knowledge to support technical discussions and documentation. The role requires on-site presence to ensure seamless communication in meetings, conferences, and technical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpretation & Document Translation:
• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during meetings and translate documents and technical materials between Korean and English, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and industry-specific terminology.
• Technical Support:
• Interpret complex technical discussions related to solar energy, semiconductor manufacturing, gas management, and chemical processes. Ensure technical accuracy in interpretation while using correct industry-specific terminology.
• Industry Knowledge Application:
• Use your foundational understanding of solar, semiconductor, gas, and chemical industries to interpret specialized discussions, ensuring the accurate communication of technical details.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Keep accurate records of interpreted materials, including meeting notes and translated documents, especially those involving technical or industry-specific information.
• Assist with Training & Support:
• Provide training and support to team members or clients, focusing on technical terminology in the solar, semiconductor, gas, and chemical industries in both Korean and English.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education, Experience and Skills.
• Any bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in Korean (4 or above TOPIK Level) and English(both oral and written)
• 1-2 years of experience in Solar, Semiconductor, Chemical industries is preferred
• Willingness to learn quickly and be able to travel pan India
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in translations and interpretations
• Deep understanding of Korean cultural nuances

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
