Job Description

Key Responsibilities Food Preparation Support Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables and fruits. Assist in basic cooking tasks as instructed by the chef. Prepare ingredients in required quantities for daily menu. Portion ingredients and set up workstations before service. Hygiene & Cleaning Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Clean kitchen surfaces, counters, and equipment. Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standards as per food safety guidelines. Dispose of waste properly and keep garbage areas clean. Stock & Inventory Assistance Receive, unpack, and store supplies like vegetables, meats, and dry ingredients. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor. Organize refrigerators and storage areas neatly. Kitchen Operations Assist cooks and chefs during busy meal periods. Ensure all kitchen tools are cleaned and put back in place. Follow safety guidelines to avoid accidents. Skills & Requirements Basic knowledge of kitchen operations. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Physically fit and able to stand for long hours. Good communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience preferred but not mandatory.
