Job Title: Kitchen Helper Department: Food & Beverage – Kitchen Reports To: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef Job Summary: The Kitchen Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, cleaning, and organizing duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in basic food prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils. Receive and store food supplies properly. Dispose of waste and keep the kitchen tidy. Assist in plating dishes and organizing ingredients for cooking. Follow all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards. Perform other duties assigned by senior kitchen staff. Skills & Qualifications: No formal education required; basic kitchen knowledge preferred. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Physically fit and able to work long hours in a hot kitchen. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks. Good hygiene and cleanliness practices.
