Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience managing key accounts and driving business growth.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Manage a network of accounts and customers to exceed budget expectations.
  • Collaborate with staff and resources to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand customer base.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing customers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in pre-marketing and new product launch activities, including pricing.
  • Forecast, budget, and report on sales performance; administer CRM.
  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and provide strategic advice to management on industry or customer trends and activities.
  • Manage business/customer retention and contract management, while hunting for new customers in this market segment.
  • Work closely with Technical Support and Quality teams to deliver and control customer satisfaction outcomes and complaints reporting.
  • Maintain key relationships in laboratory or hospital networks and oversee evaluations/trials with Product Management/Specialists.
  • Offer in-person and virtual support to the national team and coordinate co-calls with marketing, service, and management teams effectively.
Job Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in science and experience in laboratory operations, especially hospital lab operations is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of successful working experience in multinational companies, with at least 5 years as a Business, Account, or Key Account Manager.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, along with emotional and social intelligence.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and present to customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with laboratory processes and workflow/challenges, as well as software applications and instruments platforms.
  • Proficiency in Immunoassay and related techniques, and strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Passion for the customer experience and integrity/congruence.
  • Flexibility and ability to liaise with different organizational areas and key internal and external referees.
  • Very strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Travel availability: Full flexibility India and International.
