Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Kannada Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching the Kannada language, literature, and grammar to students, developing lesson plans, and fostering an appreciation for the Kannada language and culture. Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Kannada language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels. Teach Kannada grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills. Introduce students to Kannada literature, poetry, and cultural heritage. Design engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment. Organize Kannada-related activities such as debates, essay writing, and cultural events. Use modern teaching methods, audio-visual aids, and digital tools for interactive learning. Collaborate with other teachers and academic staff to enhance curriculum and teaching standards. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kannada / Kannada Literature / Language Studies or equivalent. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. Proficiency in spoken and written Kannada. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Previous teaching experience in schools or colleges is desirable. Passion for teaching and promoting Kannada language and culture.
