Kannada Teacher

Job Description: G3-G8

• Deliver structured Kannada language lessons aligned with the school’s

curriculum and academic standards.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets and assessments for

Grades 3–8.

• Ensure clarity of concepts, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and

writing skills.

• Develop age-appropriate teaching strategies for each grade level.
• Use creative teaching methodologies such as activities, role-play, storytelling,

reading sessions and interactive tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress, performance and attendance.
• Prepare question papers, evaluation criteria, answer keys and report card

remarks.

• Provide timely feedback to students and support slow learners through remedial

sessions if required.

• Create a disciplined, respectful and positive learning environment.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, orderliness and student discipline at all times.
• Ensure all students are engaged during lessons and follow behavioral

expectations.

• Communicate professionally with parents during PTMs and whenever required.
• Coordinate with class teachers, subject teachers and the academic team for

smooth academic functioning.

• Collaborate during events, competitions and school initiatives related to

Kannada language and culture.

• Participate in curriculum planning, yearly syllabus breakdown and academic

documentation.

• Update the school portal/MCB with assessments, lesson plans and student

records.

• Assist in organising Kannada Rajyotsava, cultural programmes, assemblies and

language-related activities.

• Attend meetings, workshops and training sessions as scheduled by the school.

Qualification/ Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kannada / Literature / Education.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in handling Grades 3–8 (preferred).
• Strong communication skills in Kannada and basic English.
• Passionate, dedicated and student-friendly teaching approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
