As a skilled Kafka Administrator at our company, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and managing Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance of our data streaming platform. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to design and implement Kafka solutions that align with our business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters in both production and development environments. Monitor Kafka performance and troubleshoot issues related to brokers, producers, and consumers. Implement best practices for data ingestion, retention, and processing within the Kafka ecosystem. Develop and maintain documentation on configuration, processes, and procedures. Optimize Kafka cluster performance and conduct capacity planning. Collaborate with application teams to understand data flow requirements and provide support for Kafka integration. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator or in a similar role. Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, streaming concepts, and related technologies. Experience with Kafka management tools like Confluent Control Center, Kafka Manager, or equivalent. Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
