The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of Odoo 18 and a strong understanding of Odoos ORM, business flows, and module development. Responsibilities include developing custom Odoo modules, integrating third-party apps, resolving backend issues, and collaborating with functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Roles and responsibilities

Develop and customize Odoo 18 modules as per business requirements
Troubleshoot and debug Odoo backend issues
Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and APIs
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand project requirements
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
Deploy and maintain Odoo instances in development and production environments
Contribute to process improvements and best practices

Skills

2 to 3 years of experience in Odoo backend development
Hands-on experience with Odoo 18
Strong Python programming skills
Good understanding of Odoo ORM, business flows, and security concepts
Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, and QWeb templates
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Proficiency with Git and version control
Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Knowledge of Odoo deployment and server management
Experience with Odoo frontend (JavaScript, OWL) is a plus
