Junior to Mid-Level Graphic Designer (with Motion Graphics and Video Editing Skills) Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a talented and creative Junior to Mid-Level Graphic Designer with expertise in motion graphics and video editing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and the ability to create visually compelling graphics and engaging motion content for various digital platforms. Proficient in the latest design software, the candidate should be skilled in the entire design process from concept development to final delivery. Collaborating with various teams, you will transform written or spoken ideas into impactful visual communication materials that align with our brand identity and positioning. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and their application in branding and marketing, along with a strong background in digital design and an excellent grasp of branding and visual systems, with the ability to tailor styles and layouts to suit unique projects and diverse platforms. Key Responsibilities Graphic Design: Develop visually appealing designs for marketing materials for digital media such as social media posts and other digital touch points. Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, brand positioning, and project objectives. Motion Graphics: Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for promotional videos, social media, and digital advertisements. Develop dynamic motion graphics for social media posts, advertisements, and brand campaigns. Animate logos, icons, and other graphic elements to enhance videos. Collaborate with the team to storyboard and execute concepts for video content. Content Editing: Edit and produce short-form content such as short videos, and other multimedia content tailored for digital platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Implement transitions, sound effects, and color grading to ensure high-quality output. Add dynamic transitions, sound effects, and animations to enhance storytelling. Work on long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, Event Videos, or other internal communications. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions. Provide input and innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions. Research & Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design, motion graphics, and social media trends. Suggest new creative approaches to keep the brands content fresh and relevant. Quality Assurance: Review and refine designs and videos to ensure the highest quality output. Optimize multimedia content for various platforms and resolutions. Platform-Specific Content: Adapt designs and videos for different platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn). Stay updated on platform trends to create relevant and innovative content. Objectives of this Role Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic/motion designs that meet business goals. Obtain inputs and ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately. Collaborate with the internal marketing team and other third-party vendors to conceptualize and develop creative campaigns that effectively communicate key messages and drive desired actions. Ensure consistency and coherence in creative messaging across various marketing channels and platforms. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging design and marketing techniques to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to understand campaign objectives and target audiences, translating them into creative strategies. Work independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, collaborate with external agencies, video and event production teams, and partners as needed to enhance the creative output. Key Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Animation, or a related field. Experience: 2 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing, preferably with a creative or marketing agency. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Expertise in motion graphics and video editing tools like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Knowledge of 3D design tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) is a plus. Creative Abilities: Strong understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and branding principles. Soft Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Desire to continue building skill set with education and training. Portfolio: A portfolio of work showcasing a wide range of creative projects.
