Junior Sous Chef - Continental

As a Continental Junior Sous Chef at Merlis Coimbatore, you will play a crucial role in the pre-opening culinary brigade of our elegant new luxury hotel. Your primary focus will be on European and Continental cuisines, ensuring quality, presentation, and creativity in all culinary offerings. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in developing and executing creative Continental menus. - Supervising kitchen sections to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. - Training and mentoring junior culinary team members to foster a positive and efficient kitchen environment. - Ensuring adherence to hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards at all times. - Managing inventory, minimizing wastage, and supporting cost control initiatives. - Collaborating with F&B and service teams to guarantee exceptional guest satisfaction.
