Junior Software Teste

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with up to 1 year of experience (or a fresher with strong fundamentals) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Manual Testing, Functional Testing, and UI Testing, along with familiarity in API and Database Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and executing manual test cases based on project requirements.

Perform functional, UI, and regression testing for web and mobile applications.

Report bugs, track defects, and verify fixes using tools like Zoho, JIRA or similar platforms.

Support the QA team in test planning, documentation, and execution.

Work closely with developers to understand features and resolve issues effectively.

Execute basic SQL queries for backend data validation.

Gain hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.

Participate in regular QA meetings and contribute to improving testing processes.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).

Up to 1 year of experience in software testing (manual or internship experience preferred).

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

Basic knowledge of functional, UI, and regression testing.

Familiarity with API testing and SQL.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation abilities.

Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methods.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Knowledge of API testing and database validation using SQL.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Experience: 1 year of experience (or a fresher with strong fundamentals)
