Junior Software Tester

The role of Junior Software Tester at Clarisco Solutions involves assisting in writing, reviewing, and executing test cases and test scenarios. You will be responsible for performing functional, regression, and smoke testing on web and mobile applications, identifying, logging, and tracking bugs using appropriate tools. Collaboration with developers and team members is crucial to ensure software quality. Reporting bugs and errors to development teams in a clear and concise manner is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, you will participate in daily stand-ups and QA meetings, learn and implement testing tools and best practices as required, maintain test documentation, and prepare reports on test results. To excel in this role, you should possess basic knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC. Familiarity with manual testing is required, while exposure to automation tools like Selenium would be considered advantageous. An understanding of bug tracking tools, along with good communication and problem-solving skills, is essential. A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting in a team environment is highly valued. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
