Junior Software Tester

Role Overview: As a Junior Software Tester, you will be an integral part of our Quality Assurance team. With 1 to 2.6 years of experience in software testing, your main focus will be on manual and automation testing processes. Your role will involve testing software applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and areas for improvement to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products to our users. Key Responsibilities: - Develop test cases based on requirements and design documents, and maintain and execute them effectively. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing on various software applications through manual testing. - Collaborate with the QA team to create and execute automated test scripts when applicable. - Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla. - Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand software requirements and ensure high-quality product releases. - Document test results, generate detailed bug reports, and provide feedback on software performance. - Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and test data. - Recommend improvements to existing testing processes and methodologies for continuous enhancement. Qualifications Required: - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Basic knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing. - Previous experience in testing web and mobile applications.
