Junior Software Tester

As a Software Tester with 6 months to 1 year of experience, your role will involve ensuring the functionality, usability, and quality standards of websites, web applications, and mobile apps. Your attention to detail and motivation will be crucial in performing the following responsibilities: - Perform manual testing across different devices and browsers - Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar - Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and UI/UX testing - Collaborate with developers and designers for issue resolution - Execute test cases, report results, and maintain clear test cases and plans - Ensure the final product meets client requirements and user expectations - Participate in sprint planning and review meetings if Agile is used To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC - Hands-on experience in testing websites and mobile applications - Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and developer tools - Good communication and documentation skills Nice to have skills include: - Experience with automation tools like Selenium or Appium - Familiarity with Agile methodologies - Basic knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including paid sick time and performance bonuses.
