Junior Software Developer - GIS Domain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Junior Software Developer to join our team in the GIS domain. The ideal candidate should have 1 - 2 years of software development experience with a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, or .NET. A keen willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in software development using Java or Python or .NET and SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and GIS technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to or interest in the GIS domain or geospatial technologies.
• Experience working with spatial data or GIS platforms (e.g., GE Smallworld, ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoServer).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong programming, knowledge of Database

Desired Skills:

• Geographical Information System (GIS) knowledge, CI/CD

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
