Junior Service Technician cum Office Assistant

As a Service Technician, your role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Installation and Setup: - Installing and configuring new equipment and systems according to specifications. - Ensuring installations comply with safety standards and regulations. - Maintenance and Repair: - Performing routine maintenance and preventive servicing of equipment. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to identify faults and determine solutions. - Repairing or replacing defective components or systems. - Customer Service: - Providing excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns. - Educating customers on proper usage and maintenance of equipment. - Documentation: - Maintaining detailed records of services performed, parts used, and work completed. - Generating service reports and updating maintenance logs. - Safety and Compliance: - Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols for a safe working environment. - Complying with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. - Continuous Improvement: - Staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. - Participating in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Qualifications: - Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. - Experience: - Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role. - Hands-on experience with various mechanical and electrical systems. - Skills: - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks. - Willingness to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and heights. Working Conditions: - May involve traveling to customer sites. - Work may be required outside of regular business hours, including weekends and holidays.
