Job Description

As a Junior Sales Associate at Artemist, you will be part of a leading art consultancy specializing in curating and creating artworks for luxury hotels, residences, and corporate spaces. Your role will involve engaging with potential clients, understanding their requirements, and communicating Artemist's offerings. Additionally, you will gather client briefs, assist in preparing sales proposals, conduct research on art trends, materials, and references, and assist in identifying new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will also create visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and pitches, collaborate with designers and the marketing team, and stay updated on art trends and industry movements to enhance sales strategies. Qualifications Required: - Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field. - Passion for Art & Design: A strong inclination towards art is mandatory for selling artworks, prints, and installations. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact confidently with high-end clients, architects, and designers. - Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for sales presentations and proposals. - Adaptability & Teamwork: Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with various teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment: Must be available full-time at the Kolkata studio (Monday to Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM). No remote work option. About Artemist: Artemist offers a 3-month probation internship with the potential for a full-time role, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in art sales and consulting. You will receive direct exposure to the art and design industry, working with luxury hospitality, corporate, and residential projects. Additionally, you will have hands-on learning in art consulting, client handling, and creative business strategies, along with mentorship from senior consultants and designers. A stipend will be provided during the internship period, with the possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion.
