Junior Research Analyst

As a Junior Research Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing quantitative trading strategies for both Indian and international markets. Your main tasks will involve conducting thorough research and analysis of market data to identify profitable trading opportunities. Additionally, you will be researching portfolio construction and risk allocation techniques, as well as back-testing ideas using historical tick-by-tick data. Collaboration with other team members to enhance and optimize trading strategies will be a key part of your role. Furthermore, monitoring and analyzing market data and news to identify potential market risks and opportunities will be essential in this position. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong knowledge of statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is a must. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will be beneficial for carrying out your responsibilities effectively. A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a college or university is required. Prior experience in automated trading strategy development with a top HFT firm or hedge fund will be considered a significant advantage.,
