Junior QA Engineer

In this role at GlobalLogic, you will be an integral part of a team working on a major software project for a leading company that provides M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules to industries like automotive, healthcare, and logistics. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the development of end-user modules firmware, implementing new features, ensuring compatibility with the latest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as analyzing and estimating customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plans and create test cases for new features - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate the streaming application on partner devices - Enhance existing test cases to address any gaps - Identify issues, report defects, and suggest additional tests to uncover reoccurrences - Assist with triaging automation issues (basic automation experience required) Qualifications Required: - Highly motivated individual passionate about quality - 2+ years of QA experience, preferably testing on devices like Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple test executions concurrently - Knowledge of QA methodology and test/defect management tools; experience with TestRail and Jira is a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Nice to Have: - Experience managing cross-functional relationships - Experience with running and triaging automated tests for web applications - Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS At GlobalLogic, you will experience a culture of caring where people come first, continuous learning and development opportunities, engaging and meaningful work on impactful projects, balance and flexibility in work arrangements, and a high-trust organization built on integrity and ethics.
