Job Description

Job Summary:  To plan, coordinate, and work as a team to complete purchase activities efficiently, within the stipulated budget and timeline, while ensuring continuous vendor development.   Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute purchase activities to meet daily targets and budget set by management.  - Coordinate with existing vendors and actively develop new vendors to meet future requirements.  - Ensure all components in the Bill of Materials (BOM) are ready for issuance as per the project schedule.  - Follow up regularly with suppliers to monitor progress and resolve delays.  - Visit vendors locally for inspection, coordination, and follow-up on deliveries.  - Maintain proper purchase documentation and records using MS Excel and MS Word.    Requirements: - Ability to read and understand machine frame and component drawings.  - Basic knowledge of raw material specifications and costing. - Good follow-up skills with commitment to meet strict deadlines.  - Experience in purchase or vendor development is preferred.  - Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is highly desirable.  - Willingness to travel locally to meet vendors regularly.
