Junior Production Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Mechinex Automation Private Limited, a Coimbatore-based startup that focuses on developing next-generation CNC machine tools to empower small and medium manufacturers. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the assembly and build of CNC machines, working closely with the design and R&D teams to ensure quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble CNC machines from base to final testing, following engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) - Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors to ensure timely availability of parts - Perform alignment, calibration, and functional checks on machines - Ensure quality checks are adhered to during and after assembly - Document processes and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency - Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes and feedback - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production floor Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering, or ITI certification - One to two years of experience in machine tool assembly or industrial machinery manufacturing - Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret technical specifications - Proficient in assembly, mechanical integration, and basic electrical systems - Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team - Prior experience in CNC machine tool assembly or production is advantageous Company Details: Mechinex Automation Private Limited is a young and growing team that excels in solving real-world manufacturing challenges.
