Junior Product Owner in KYC Transformation, AVP

Role Overview: You will be joining the Product Owner Team in the Corporate / Investment Bank Transformation Team in Bangalore, India. Your primary responsibility will be to further design the dbCLM platform, the KYC (Know Your Client) platform for the Corporate Banking / Investment Banking divisions. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the evolution of dbCLM to ensure KYC compliance optimally and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - You will have end-to-end accountability for key product functionalities of the KYC platform. This will involve engaging stakeholders throughout the product delivery cycle to ensure successful feature delivery and rollout. - Conduct business analysis and collaborate with business/operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand business problems/needs and identify solutions that align with business objectives and program strategy. - Accurately document current/target states, processes, story maps, features maps, and user stories. - Collaborate with Chief Product Owners and leads from Business, Production, and Technology to define the delivery roadmap of initiatives and process components. Provide guidance and support to junior Product Owners on Product Vision execution and ensure priority alignment of their respective feature teams. - Participate as a team member in development scrum ceremonies and define deliveries via 3-Amigo sessions. Represent business/KYC operations throughout and ensure operational readiness of the KYC organization. - Understand the impact of changes to ensure operational readiness, identify and prepare for any training and communication needs. Qualification Required: - Should have 9+ years of experience - Agile experience and proficiency in business analysis tools to deconstruct complex business problems and effectively communicate with stakeholders at different levels. - Basic understanding of Anti Money Laundering frameworks and KYC processes. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, extract relevant information, devise requirements, and ensure buy-in throughout the development lifecycle. - Strong team player who can collaborate effectively and self-manage a book of work with transparency on progress and issues. - Proficiency in English communication and MS Office tools. Ideally, experience with JIRA and Confluence would be beneficial.
