Job Description: As an Assembly Technician in the VOS Production team at Emerson, your main responsibility will be to assemble, install, and test products or components in a manufacturing setting. You will work with hand tools or machinery to put together parts, troubleshoot technical issues, perform repairs, and ensure quality standards are met. Additionally, you will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production teams to achieve production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings and specifications with the help of work instructions. - Test and troubleshoot systems to detect and solve technical problems. - Conduct visual inspections of components and completed systems to ensure quality standards are met. - Maintain accurate records of production data, testing results, and other reports related to the assembly process. - Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and production to ensure efficient assembly processes. - Make recommendations for improvements to the assembly process to increase efficiency and reduce production costs. - Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. - Keep tools and work areas clean and organized. - Travel to customers to solve problems if required. Qualification Required: - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications. - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment. - Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Knowledge of basic math and computer skills. - Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.,
