Junior Merchandiser

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to support our merchandising team in handling export orders from international clients. The ideal candidate will assist in communication, order tracking, sample coordination, production follow-ups, and documentation related to textile and garment exports. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with sampling and production teams to ensure buyer requirements are met Help prepare and send cost sheets, quotations, and T&A (Time & Action) calendars Track the progress of ongoing orders from sampling to final shipment Follow up with vendors, fabric suppliers, and internal departments for timely execution Coordinate development of samples, lab dips, trims, and approvals from buyers Maintain records of sample submissions, approvals, and production status Assist in managing order files, packing lists, and shipment documentation Support senior merchandisers in preparing reports, order summaries, and updates for management Attend buyer meetings (online/offline) and support in presenting collection samples Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field 0–2 years of relevant experience in the textile or apparel export industry Basic understanding of fabric types, trims, garment construction. Strong organizational and multitasking skills Eager to learn and grow within the merchandising function Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Application Question(s): Do you have any experience in Textile Industry & Merchandising Work Location: In person
