Junior Java/Python Developer

Job Description – Junior Java/Python Developer (Female Candidate – Rejoining / 1 Year Experience)Position: Junior Developer – Java/Python Experience: 1 Year REAL-TIME work experience OR Career Break (Re-joining Candidates Welcome)Gender Preference: Female Candidates Only Location : Tanjore Reporting To: Senior Developer Overview We are looking for a female Junior Java/Python Developer with at least 1 year of REAL-TIME work experience in a software development environment. This role is also open to women rejoining after a career break, provided they have prior real-time development experience. The selected candidate will initially work as a shadow to a senior developer, gradually transitioning to independent development tasks.Key Responsibilities

• Shadow the senior developer to learn project standards, workflow, and architecture.
• Contribute to backend development using Java (Spring Boot) or Python (Flask/Django).
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or SQLite.
• Write clean, efficient SQL queries for CRUD operations and data processing.
• Support API development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Follow version control practices using Git.
• Progressively take ownership of assigned modules after training.

Required Skills

• Real-time development experience in Java or Python (minimum 1 year).
• Strong understanding of backend concepts and REST API development.
• Good knowledge of SQL, joins, indexing, and database fundamentals.
• Ability to read and understand existing codebases.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Spring Boot / Flask / Django.
• Basic understanding of frontend tech (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Exposure to cloud or DevOps tools is a plus.
