Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Executive with approximately 1 year of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day technical support tasks, ensuring smooth IT operations, and providing excellent user support to internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and effective first-level technical support to end-users, both remotely and onsite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members or external vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including support logs and system configurations.
  • Support software installations, patches, and updates as part of routine maintenance.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within various systems.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve system efficiency and security.
  • Follow company IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and office productivity software.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and antivirus solutions.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills will be a plus.
