Junior IT Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Diploma (IT/CS) graduate to join our team as a Junior IT Support Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of networking concepts and experience (or strong interest) in IT helpdesk support. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to users (hardware, software, and network).
• Assist in troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, email, and basic system administration tasks.
• Log and track issues in the helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Escalate complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
• Support IT team in routine maintenance and upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches).
• Familiarity with Windows / Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional, nice to have):

• Exposure to Office 365 / Google Workspace support.
• Basic knowledge of firewalls or IT security.
• Experience with remote support tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
