Junior IT Specialist

Role Overview: You will be joining Fly Chicken's dynamic team in Hyderabad as a Junior IT Specialist, responsible for managing the Point of Sale (POS) system and various IT-related tasks. Your role will involve ensuring efficient IT infrastructure operation, collaborating with the Operations Director and Store Managers for seamless operations. Key Responsibilities: - POS Management - Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of POS systems in different locations - Troubleshoot and resolve POS issues promptly - Coordinate with vendors for hardware or software-related matters - Install, configure, and update POS software/hardware - Assist in front house staff training on POS system features - IT Support - Provide general IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues - Manage IT inventory, ensure systems are up-to-date - Perform regular system backups and updates - Assist in setting up new equipment like computers, printers, and tech devices - Security & Maintenance - Monitor and enforce IT security policies for data and system protection - Assist in software installations and updates to meet security standards - Help maintain data backup systems and disaster recovery procedures Qualifications and Skills: - Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of POS systems (preferably in the food industry), Windows OS, network configuration/troubleshooting, IT security, and data protection principles.
