Story99 is a story-led marketing & brand partner for 50-500 size tech / deep-tech / B2B companies. Do check out the site to understand the kind of work that we do.

In short, we do insights-based rebranding (requires visual / graphic design), narrative fixing and video-stories for primarily B2B clients (mostly tech & deep-tech). But for some clients, we also run their entire brand and marketing track (which again involves visual / graphic design work).

Story99 is on a 0-1 journey presently and the early team is being put together - the team that gets to shape the future of the company. Prior to launching Story99, the founder - Amrit Vatsa - built and scaled a similar marketing consulting company from 2 to a 15 people team. 2. Who is this role for?

(Story99 Graphic Designer - Remote)

In terms of your experience / skills / personality

This role is for you if you are a junior graphic designer (even a fresh graduate is ok) who is pretty good at designing and is going to be comfortable with Figma & Adobe Illustrator.

The kind of personality that will thrive in Story99 would be a designer who:

• knows how to optimize between perfection and practicality
• doesn’t need follow-ups but is in general proactive in life
• is OK in reaching out for help before it’s too late (than coming up with excuses when the time to deliver comes)
• doesn’t randomly disappear because “was not feeling like it”
• knows when to ask for a break (if needed) before committing to something
• doesn’t celebrate overwork
• asks questions till they understand the bigger picture behind any assignment, before jumping into execution
• knows how to take feedback without instinctively defending but also knows how to defend their work - with humility - instead of just succumbing to “do you like it?”
• is able to communicate well in English

In terms of career path / aspirations

This role is for you if you want to grow into a seasoned designer who can, over time, lead client-facing discussions and reach a phase where you can advise others on their visual design strategy and approach (but predominantly on the B2B space and less on the consumer brand space).

Who knows, maybe in a few years you feel comfortable to start your own visual design agency!

3. What would you get to do as part of this role?

• Monday morning weekly meetings to plan the week
• ~50% work will be clear on a Monday, rest as the week goes by
• The nature of the design work will vary, but could include
• Website design (once in a while)
• Poster design
• Thumbnail design
• Newsletter design
• Static ads design
• The typical brand identity stuff (once in a while) - like logos, flyers, visiting cards, stall designs etc

4. Salary, Location & Joining

It’s a fully remote job - joining immediate - 01 Aug 2025

• Fixed pay: 6 LPA
• Variable pay: None
• ESOPs: None
• Additional: Personal mentorship from Amrit, founder - Story99 (weekly 1:1 where you are free to discuss anything)
